IMS AWJ and Water Only Cutting Systems
Industrial Motion Systems Waterjet systems provide the fastest rapid and contouring speeds on the market. This enables us to cut composites, foams, and textile products with very little saturation. Our rigid gantry style motion system provides a rigid platform for high speed complex cutting. We also provide off table gantry parking to allow bigger sheets to be loaded from above the table. All of our systems use our time tested precision actuators. IMS has been producing linear motion products for the past 20 years along with special machinery. Odd table sizes and other request are welcomed.
IMS produces all of their motion systems in house and intensifiers are provided by the world leader in high pressure technology KMT. The combination of the KMT intensifier and IMS Motion System creates a high performance, lower cost of ownership, reliable system.
Intensifier
The highest performing KMT waterjet pump using slow strokes for maximum seal life.

- Reliability - The durable design gives these water jet pumps very high resale value, even years after the initial purchase. KMT Waterjet Systems will not sell any pump (even if it has 90,000psi) until it is extensively tested and proven reliable!
- Low Operating Cost - Pump wear components (high pressure seals and check valves) last a very long time due to the water jet industries longest pump plunger for slower stroking and fewer directional changes (a major cause of seal wear).
- Elusive Design for Rapid Maintenance - Only KMT pumps have a metal-to-metal seal on the end-caps and 10-minute seal change design. Ask for our video showing how simple and fast it is to replace the seals!

Tank Design
- Reinforced Welded Steel Tank
- Tank Bottom is slopped to cause the Garnet to move towards pickup point at lowest point in the tank
- Inside of tank is coated with durable Industrial Polyurethane coating
- If coating is damaged it can be easily repaired
- Internal Air Reservoir will provide Rapid Water Level Change
