Compact Axis - Belt Driven Linear Actuators

Compact axis or linear actuators are positioning axes for industrial handling devices. Compact Axis Linear Actuators are offered in (5) different sizes and (12) different guide variations. The load capacity of the precision ground linear guides, range from 500-45,000# (2450->20,400 N) and provide long service life. All lubrication points are externally mounted. Lubrication points could also be installed to a central lubrication system to distributed accordingly. Types with two guides mounted parallel to each other offers high rigidity at right angle to the direction of travel.

The carrier profile has a large number of groves on the outside. It can easily be connected to the aluminum structural profiles from ISOTEC. A timing belt with stell chain links is used as the drive mechanism. The timing belt is the way cover and is guided by profile-milled plastic material, which is self lubricating and acts as a seal to the internal mechanisms inside the linear actuator. Traverse rates are up to 200"/sec. (5M/sec.)
