Capabilities
Industrial Motion Systems utilizes a time-tested, project management methodology, supplemented with computerized management, to be certain that client systems are installed on-time and within budget. By assuming single source responsibility, we free our clients to do what they do best —run profitable, efficient, effective businesses.
The following phases ensure a successful automation project.
Phase I: Systems Planning — The first phase is a combination of analyzing, researching and evaluating a client’s problem, then providing the solution. This involves taking a creative total picture view of all the client’s concerns. Each client presentation contains thoroughly evaluated alternatives and fully developed systems combined to provide a successful and economic program.
Phase II: Concept Evaluation — A critical phase in the development of any new project. This includes feasibility evaluation of the client’s technical system. A test unit will be constructed and run at full operating speed.
Phase III: Design — Turning the idea into reality. This phase turns proven principles into production drawings. Client involvement is included in every step to guarantee timely revisions.
Phase IV: Fabrication — The assembly of the system in our climate controlled, manufacturing/training facility. Careful attention is given to pre-shipment testing and debugging. IMS clients only receive finished, fully operational products.
Phase V: System Installation — The IMS staff of experts installs the product at the client’s facility. This includes training and orientation services provided to the client’s employees on each piece of equipment. Therefore, when you receive an IMS product, you receive instant productivity.
